Loading... What do the traditional wedding packages include?
All packages include the chapel fee. Many include a video of ceremony and basic weding flowers (bouquet and bouteniere) and photo packages. Courtesy limo service to and from the chapel is also included -- but the driver must be tipped! The limo holds up to eight people.

How much am I supposed to tip everyone?
Limo drivers make their living from tips. ($25.00 and up is suggested) The minister's donation is not included in package price. ($60.00 and up is suggested)

How far in advance should we reserve?
It is best to reserve as soon as you know your preferred date and time. Weekends fill up quickly, sometimes two months ahead.

How large is the Viva Las Vegas Chapel?
The Viva Las Vegas Chapel is the largest wedding chapel in Las Vegas and can seat a maximum of a 100 people.

Do you have reception facilities?
Viva Las Vegas can meet your every need from an intimate cake and champagne for ten, to an elaborate sit-down/buffet dinner reception for 60 with a DJ.

May we renew our vows at Viva Las Vegas Chapel?
Yes! The price of the renewal ceremony is the same as the price of a wedding, however, renewals do not require a marriage license but will still need to pay a $60 Minister's fee is you choose a Traditional ceremony. Any wedding package can be performed as a vow renewal ceremony.

Do you offer commitment ceremonies?
Yes we do! Any wedding package can be performed as a commitment ceremony for the listed price.

How can we create a religious feel for our wedding?
Our non-denominational ministers can discuss preferences for religious vows before the ceremony begins. In addition, couples may wish to add a live singer to perform Ave Maria or the Lord's Prayer.

What identification is needed to get married in Las Vegas?
To get a marriage license, only one of the following forms of identification is required:

  • Driver's License or State-issued ID card
  • Original or Certified copy of Birth Certificate
  • Foreign Birth Certificate (translated into English and notarized)
  • Passport
  • Military Identification
  • Resident alien card
  • Please know your Social Security Number, since it is required to be on your marriage license. It is recognized that Non U.S. citizens will not have a Social Security Number.

    What identification do foreigners need to get married in Las Vegas?
    Marriage license requirements for U.S. citizens and Non U.S. citizens are the same. All documents presented must be translated into English. It is suggested that Non U.S. citizens check with your local officials for special documents that may be needed to ensure that your marriage will be recognized in your country.

    How can I get a marriage license in Las Vegas?
    Obtaining a marriage license in Las Vegas is very easy. The cost is $55.00 cash, and you will need to bring a valid driver's license or passport for identification. They will not accept credit cards, checks, or money orders. There is no waiting period, and no blood test is required.

    Divorced applicants must know the month, day, year, city and state of their divorce. However, you will not need to present divorce papers.

    Where can I get a marriage license in Las Vegas?
    The Regional Justice Centyer is open daily from 8 A.M. until midnight. It is located downtown at Clark and 3rd Streets (close to the Golden Nugget and 4 Queens Hotels).

    How can I get a certified copy of the marriage license?
    If you need a certified copy of the marriage license, you can follow the simple instructions printed on the back. You can either do this via mail or in person here in Las Vegas during normal business hours. The cost is $10.00, and you will need to present a copy of your marriage license.

    What is the waiting period for obtaining a marriage license in Las Vegas?
    There is no waiting period. At off-peak times, the process takes only 15-30 minutes. You may experience some delays on Saturdays and holidays. If you have any additional questions regarding your license, you may call (800) 574-4450 or (702) 384-0771.
